For me it is always a privilege to be invited into other peoples lives and to be trusted to capture the intimacy between parents and children, even if it is often only for the couple of hours of a photoshoot.
It becomes particularly special when clients return on a regular basis, from their first child's newborn photo session, recording the arrival of brothers and sisters and then watching the family grow over the years.
Earning a living as a photographer is great and made even more enjoyable by the appreciation I receive in return, here are a few of the kind words about my work, thank you!
"We wanted some photographs taken of the family that were completely natural and that captured the stage that we were at with two young children.
We found Daniel through the internet and were immediately struck by his approach to family photography. We were not disappointed. In fact we honestly could not have asked for better. The photography session lasted about two hours but was relaxed and easy even with a three year old and eighteen month old! We had the photos taken in a local park that had played a big part in our lives so the memories we captured were even more significant.
I had originally thought that there might be ten or a dozen photos from the session that would stand out and that we would purchase for our record but we absolutely couldn’t choose out of 90+ photos. They completely capture our family in a fun and natural way that genuinely reflects our relationships. We therefore decided to have Daniel create a book of the photos which is such a treasure to us.
We now have a beautiful record of a moment in time that we shall cherish, as the children are growing up so fast!
Daniel was extremely personable and easy going yet very professional. He certainly got the best out of the children and we would highly recommend his services. I cannot stress enough how many of the shots were exactly what we had hoped for!
